The Wonderful World of Disney Recycling
Now, y'all should know that animation is very 'spensive to produce, even today, so cost-cutting measures like these are common practice. It's quite interesting to see which scenes were recycled and from where it was recycled from. (Still following?)

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the ballroom scene in Beauty and the Beast was recycled from the ballroom scene in Sleeping Beauty. Not sure if this was tongue-in-cheek or anything of the sort, but it's still pretty cool. Click the photo to see other magical recycling techniques used by the House of Mouse. (The site is in some form of East European text. I would say Russian but then I don't want to assume. Oh and it has two pages. The link is at the end of the page.)

[Note: For those of you who don't know, the topmost images are a comparison from Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast while the ones below are comparisons from Robin Hood and Snow White. Rotoscoping rocks!)

The Macinization™ of Arianwen Dagmar Androu Tapang Lopez
This post is fairly late (blame it on WoW), but I'd like to formally welcome Arian to the Mac fold. That's a 15" 1.83GHz Dual Core MacBook Pro he's stroking. We couldn't get the bloody smile off his face for days.

You truly are a Mac Whore™, Arian. Welcome to the Cluster.

Verdandi Sleeps
My World of Warcraft Free Month has expired. I am now forced to put Verdandi to sleep. Well, at least in hibernation.

I shall return to Azeroth when I have finally finished my backlogged personal projects... which will take a while.

Meanwhile, in the Real World

I just got back from our office outing in Coco Beach, Puerto Galera. I will try to post a review here and at Pao's review site. But if you've been following my current track record... don't expect too much.

Just When I Thought I was Out, They Pull Me Back In!
GODdamn it! The Evil Empire strikes again! Just when I thought I've finally rid myself of everything Windows® related, Apple has to pull this shit out of its bag!

I didn't even spend enough honeymoon time with OSX! [sigh] Story of my life. Anyway, I'll get back to my Mac gloating (and long delayed greeting cards and shout outs) next week, which I'm told is pretty Holy.

P.S. I know this is fairly "old" news, but I just wanted to bitch. And I am aware of the fact that I don't have to install Windows on my Mac. It's just why did they have to do that after I get a Mac? Curse you, Jobs!
