They're Butt-Ugly AND They're Dangerous

 I never understood why people buy Crocs. They're flippin' ugly. But I'd never expect these things to hurt you as much it hurts your fashion credibility. According to Japan's International Trade and Industry Ministry and the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation, 40 reported escalator accidents have been linked to these monstrosities. One reported case involved a five-year-old girl breaking her middle toe.
As much as I hate these shoes, I can't fathom how these things get caught on escalators. But I'm told one similar event has already happened in the Philippines. So you guys better think twice before buying such potentially (fashionably) dangerous footwear. Labels: WTF |
