And Now Children, What Have We Learned Today?
We were joking around the office (before we were sent home) on how this has got to be one of the worst coups (or coup attempts if you want to get technical) ever. For starters, it seems that everyone knew about this "uprising" two weeks in advance. Then before it was even officially called a coup, the alleged ring leader was arrested. How pathetic is that?

Trying to to make sense of this morning's farce political events, and I've come up with some possible scenarios on why things are: (1) That General Lim chap has got to be the worst military strategist in history (which would lead you to wonder what kind of generals we have in this country); (2) to satisfy your conspiracy theory tendencies, all of this could just be an act to show "how much in control" President Arroyo is to the local and of course the ever important International community; and (3) if you believe in divine intervention, this probably means that PGMA has a divine mandate that can only be voided if a prophet finds and anoints a shepherd boy who recently killed a giant with a slingshot.
