Wise Words from Philip K. Dick
"The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words."

Damn, man. I mean, Dah-yum! This must be the credo of the world's politicians.

Philip K. Dick
is a writer whose works include "Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep?" and the short story "Minority Report" which was the basis for the feature film.

weirdest thing actually. i was looking around the apple movie trailers site and came across the trailer for "A Scanner Darkly." checked it out in imdb.com. then saw Mr. Dick credited as writer. then i proceeded to check out his entry then saw that quote. i just found it fascinating enough to merit a blog post.

then there was this guy p who asked me "and what brought about this post of mister dick?"

and then i said "weirdest thing actually. i was looking around the apple movie trailers site and came across..."
